BG:EE - My party by TariToons BG:EE - My party by TariToons
My party for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition.
It was a bit tricky to get both Edwin and Neera in my party, since I first got Edwin in Nashkel and went later to Beregost to pick up Neera. But since you have to ....

SPOILER!!!
... kill some red wizards to get her, Edwin will leave the party if you let join Neera.
SPOILER END

The trick is to have Edwin leave the party, pick Neera up and then get Edwin to join again. I am really looking forward to the banter between them  :D
And as much as I love Edwin, I would totally ship these two, just because for this love hate realtionship. Oh god, my Fangirl senses are tingeling!
Why am I so atracted to red wizards, or Thayans in general?!

Anyway, as you may allready have guessed, I am going to hit on Dorn in this playthrough, but I suppose, the real romances will only be awailable in BG:EE2 when it comes out (until then there probably will only be some flirting). Let's just hope that there will be a BG:EE2. And if both games sell well, they will be making a motherf*cking BALDUR'S GATE 3!!! F*CK YEAH!

F.l.t.r.:
Neera (Chaotic neutral, female, Wild Mage, Halfelf)
Edwin Odesseiron (Lawful evil, male, Conjurer, Human)
Marikal (neutral evil, female, Swashbuckler, Halforc)
Dorn Il'Khan (lawful evil, male, Black Guard, Halforc)
Viconia De'Vir (neutral evil, female, Cleric, Drow)
Rasaad yn Bashir (lawful good, male, Monk, human)

Awesome work!!, I haven't got the EE I keep hearing lots of mixed views about it still so I'm undecided (and it looks like I may not get a chance now with the contractual issues unless steam are still selling it). I loved the original version, which I still play quite regularly as well as BGII, Icewind Dale/2, NWN/2 etc etc.

I hope that they do make a 3rd but I wish it was Bioware that was making it.

I must have missed Neera in Beregost... O_O

Has any-one else found that Cave Bears have a freakish attraction to Rasaad? Being as they keep appearing and trying to eat him (and suceed most of the time lol) Love the character, but I don't think he's going to last long in my party lol :)

Awesome collection of characters though, you really got the expressions right :)

Strangely, Cave Bears don't seem to have a special attraction to Rasaad in my game. Even though I'm doing an evil walkthrough, I'm going to keep him since I don't want to miss anything out.

That's basically why I'm keeping him, I wanna see what happens lol. I warn you, with my game, every time he dies (Which is often) and I ressurect him he starts the same conversation -.-

And you're welcome! :)

You moved through Beregost and didn't pick up Neera? That's where I found her. Been having fun with her, although I really don't like the way Wild Mages operate. May or may not replace her for a different mage at some point, at least after the extra content with her.

Second, Agreeing with you there. It's a fun game, but unless you play with all of the new characters (sorry Dorn, I'm too busy having 20 rep to bring you along B| ) at once and take along friends for the other two chars, the game feels sort of empty without NPC project. However, I was the one who loved making my own stuff up for my characters (my emotionless 2D cutout characters in FF1 all have names and backgrounds, ferinstance) so it's easy for me to keep it up with them. By the time the Dedicated servers go up for internet play, my friends and I will end up playing multiplayer and we'll make that a moot point too.

Thirdly, totally disagreeing with regards to Anomen. He is a muthafudgin murder death machine with Flail of Ages+5 and Crom Fayr Offhand. He did almost if not more damage than most of the other hard hitters like Keldorn or Minsc, and could fight side by side with Sarevok easily. Plus his high con lets him have the health to wade into battle and slaughter everything, and then the mages can get all the nice magical slings and bullets for them instead of having to rely on giving them to Viconia.

I will always stand by my brother's and my idea that Fighter turned Cleric (AKA Anomen) is basically the stupidestly brokenest awesomest thing ever and the only way he could have been even more better is if he was a level 10 fighter by the time he changed to a cleric, mostly for the extra Masteries and HP. *armcross*

Yeah, I kinda rushed through Beregost to pick up Dorn and Edwin, did Edwin's quest and went then back to Beregost to do everything that is to do their (aka looting every damn house). Didn't even know that she was there xD

I also miss the NPC Project, but they are currently working on it, to make it compatible (they are now beta testing, I believe). I for my part, don't really do any real Roleplaying in BG anymore, since I pretty much know the game through and through, I just played it to often xD The last time I did the party thing, was when I played through IWD2 for the first time. Every character got his own backstory written by me and they were bantering in my head all the time. Oh brainz, u so crazy :dummy:

Just to make this clear, I don't say that Anomen is useless, I just think that there are better fighters and better clerics to have in this game to have. I just really don't like this whole Dual classing thing, I want real experts in my party. And you have to admit, Practically every character becomes a killing machine with crom-fear and the 5 headed Flail of the ages ;) Plus, he's anoying. Go back picking flowers in the underdark Anomen.

Yeah, I'm hoping for the NPC project to come back. By that point, however, I might have gone on to other things. Boooo D=

And pshhh Anomen's not THAT annoying. I just wish they had Mr. Rob Paulsen do an alternate set of voices for when he became a Paladin. He's so much more fun and just adorable when he's Sir Anomen, and even when he's a jerk, you can be one right back and it doesn't break the romance! Who doesn't love a good love hate relationship? :V

As I said though I will never stop supporting Anomen because he is amazing, three dimensional, not an impossibly romance novel style character, and doesn't get enough love.

For my defence, I only know the german voice actor and he sounds like a snooty-nosed little upstart the whole time. His voice actor is also pretty much everywere, he voiced several NPC's in Dragon Age and SWTOR and is pretty much in every third TV show or movie -.- Every time I put on the TV or play a new video game it's like: "Oh, hey, it's Anomen." ANOYING.

But it's true, he has an interesting story and is not the classical knight in a shining armour. That's all just a facade for him. The one thing I really don't like about him is that he can't even make the tiniest decission by his own. He allways comes running up to Charname. I don't like men that have this litte confidence.

Ahhhh, That makes more sense. And yeah, our English voice actor, Rob Paulsen, is an amazing VA who has done so many different voices, and each of them are very different. He gives of a snooty "Ugh I don't want to dooo thisssss" voice, but he's also, say, Morte's "Heyyy time for all the chicks!" voice, so I can't dislike him; he's far too amazing.

I suppose that's sort of true. What I find is that the poor guy's tried so hard to do things on his own already and each time it screws up. This is the only time he can actually try and do something right, and he WANTS to get it right, especially when it comes to "the lovely Charname". When your whole life you've been told you're an ugly dog, worth only to lick your father's boots, it's kind of hard to really puff yourself up and gain the confidence to really court the woman you like that much.

Plus, he DOES get the confidence to ask to sleep with her after he realizes just how much he loves her (And YES, if you have him knighted, you CAN say no, citing that he is in love with the idea of being with her rather than just actually truly loving her just yet, unlike what most people assume). Not to mention, in ToB he really becomes much more bright, happy, and self confident. He truly changes a whole lot over the course of the story, which is more than I can say about some of the other characters in the game.

I just looked it up on youtube, he sounds completly different in english xD He also seem to have an accent of some sort.

And yeah, he is a very interesting character with a lot development during the game. But everything doesn't help, I still find him anoying. But it's not like he's completely unbearable some of his dialouge is just hilarious, especially when he banters with Edwin.

In the end, every game like Baldur's Gate must have this one character that almost nobody likes. In BG2's case it's Anomen.

I guess Rasaad and Viconia won't get along for the whole Seluna and Shar nemesis.
I think I'm going to like Rasaad. I like selunites more :P

Yeah, that's true. But they are both very calm people, I don't suppose they would simply go killing each other.

But there's a lot of sexual tension. I'd pay to see Viconia and Rasaad together in BG2:EE if they're both unromanced. :eager:

Neera is CN, Rasaad is LG.

Other than that, great stuff!

I can't see Vicky and Rasaad getting along too well, either...

Actually, I think they would kinda get along.
Viconia just wouldn't give a damn about Rasaad and he on the other hand is a much to nice person to offend Viconia as long as she doesn't do anything unspeakably evil.
